

Veterans Day Luncheon
On November 10th, 2025, four of our handpicked cadets and Chief Barros from the John D. O’Bryant School had the honor to attend the Veterans Day Luncheon hosted at Wm E. Carter American Legion Post#16. Ten of our O’Bryant Girl Scouts also accompanied us on this luncheon and wrote over 55 letters to Veterans. Orienteering Field Trip
On November 8th, 2025, our John D. O’Bryant NJROTC Orienteering team went out yet again on their last orienteering field trip of the fall at Pine Bluff Recreational Area. After conquering two orienteering trips in two weeks back to back, the cadets returned sharper with their navigation skills and stronger in teamwork. On November 2nd, 2025, our John D. O’Bryant’s Orienteering team of NJROTC cadets, along with the Madison Park MCJROTC, conquered the orientation paths organized by the New England Orienteering Club at F. Gilbert Hills State Forest. On October 29th, 2025, the John D. O’Bryant Colorguard was honored to be able to perform for the Boston Celtics. It was a powerful moment to share our prideful spirit towards one of Boston’s most treasured sports teams. Orientation Field Trip 2025
On October 19th, 2025, our Orienteering team of cadets conquered through the woods of Camp NEOC (New England Orienteering Club). By using only a compass and a map, cadets were able to persevere through the woodsy terrain and obtain each checkpoint. This field trip allowed cadets to practice their leadership skills and put their navigational skills to the test, while also having fun, exploring with their fellow peers.
