Caio Rong

Hey y’all! I’m C/CPO Rong, Caio, the Master At Arms of the John D. O’Bryant NJROTC unit. I am a Junior and this is both my third year in the school and in the unit. A little fun fact about me is that I was born in Brazil and moved to Boston in the spring of 2022. As for my position, I am responsible for the armory and everything that takes place in it. The armory is where equipment such as rifles, swords, flags, and drones are deposited. The unit uses these in different events and activities such as Color Guard and the Annual Military Inspection. Not only is it my responsibility to make sure that everything is organized and that nothing is missing, I also have to maintain the equipment and take note of what is old and/or damaged. One of my goals for the unit is for us to do more Color Guard events outside of school, which has been actually accomplished recently with parades and Celtics! Admittedly, I may take some time to do the tasks assigned to me, but when push comes to shove, they will be completed in due time.
